Although they are true to size, I am glad I bought 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear. The "tongue" is a piece of material that is sewn into the side seams attaching the shoe top to the shoe sole on both sides of the shoe, which for people having a very high instep like I do....is a very bad thing. It turns it into the type of shoe that I cannot wear and therefore never buy. That said...the 1/2 size bigger made these work for me even though there is empty space at the toes (which I am used to since most shoes are not even sold in my size 5.5). Have been wearing them around the house as a "trial" before starting the new job I bought them for, and they seem to be supportive and comfortable. Hoping that holds true once I spend an 8hr shift on my feet in them. They are made out of a textured stretchy material that ride a fine line between sport (comfort) and dressy (work required), all in all.... so far.... I really like them.I am the type of person who would normally balk at buying Sketchers because of the name brand. That said, these do not look like your typical Sketchers. The woven upper component make them appropriate for casual comfort wear. My main motivation for purchasing these was a vacation in cooler weather with LOTS of walking. I didn't want to let uncomfortable feet detract from my vacation.These 100% lived up to (and surpassed) my expectations. The woven upper was better for casual wear walking around a chilly city than standard athletic tennis shoes. It held up to the wind better than the mesh found on a lot of athletic tennis shoes. The memory foam at the bottom also meant they were comfortable to wear walking, but also standing still (which is when I normally notice my feet are in pain). The way the tongue is attached to the shoe means it won't slip around and be uncomfortable/need adjusting either.Overall, these look great and feel great. Definitely a good choice for comfortable casual shoes for walking. I normally wear a 6.5-7 with a wider foot and my size 7 pair fit fine.I ordered these in my regular size 8, they seem to be a half size too big. They are comfortable and feel like you are walking on air. I am not sure why these are bigger because I have the slip on canvas Go Walks and they are size 8.Update: I decided to wear these to work two nights ago, I am on my feet the entire 8-10 hours. For some reason the right shoe had my foot going outward while the shoe remained inward if that makes sense. The left shoe was a little more comfortable and fit normal. I may try a half size down or just stick with the Go Walk line exclusively.I love these shoes! I wear them daily, even around my house. I bought a size 9, and am generally a size 9 unless it's Nikes where I am a size 8.5. I wore these on our Alaskan cruise and forgot to pack my athletic sneakers for exercise. So, I ended up doing my HIIT on the treadmill in these. Surprisingly, they worked just fine for that. I don't use them for exercise now that I'm home, simply because of how lightweight they are. These were great to wear for 10+ hours walking around the ship and in the cities we visited. Also, they are cute and don't scream "skechers" when you look at them.I saw these on Denise Austin in a walking video, and as my walking sneaks weren't all that comfortable I got these. I really like them. They feel like styrofoam marshmallows on the footbed, and keep the foot pain I get from too thin a sole under the ball of my foot away. The top is a kind of stretchy mesh. Great for summer walks. The color is great also, it's a pale gray which looks almost white, but not glaringly so.Bought these because I have a similar pair in another color. Really light shoe. The memory foam is super comfortable. Thought the shoe was attractive in the pics but looked even better in person. My only complaint is that I thought these were slip ons like my previous pair (elestic laces that did not have to be tied) but they are actually regular lace ups. Should have looked a little closer so, that's on me. The sole is very flexible which is exactly what I need.I purchased these to wear indoors only. I live in Alaska so when I go outdoorsI tend to wear something sturdier and waterproof. These fit as expected. I like them because they are lightweight and the memory foam provides plenty of comfort when standing for longer periods. I suppose they would be fine for walking on paved roads or trails outdoors.Oh my gosh I just received my shoes today and I’m absolutely in love with them they are so comfy. I have never had a pair of shoes that are as comfortable as these. I’m going to get every color there is! And besides being comfy they are absolutely gorgeous. I got the plum and I guarantee I’ll be the only ones with plum colored sneakers. I’ll be styling ?These trainers are so comfortable. I have quite a wide foot and I'm usually a size UK 5.5 in most other brands but in Skechers shoes I'm a size UK 5. These trainers don't have fixed laces or a fixed tongue so they aren't slip on as described in the details, but this helps if you have a wide foot as it means you can open up the shoe wider when putting them on or taking off. These trainers fit like a glove and I'm now tempted to buy another pair in a different colour. ?These are So comfortable....really they are. I have had sore feet and with these new Skechers the pain has gone. They have lovely cushion inside and light weight ....easy. I like them a lot. Thank youReally super comfortable as pregnancy has made my feet wider and I'm already a wide fit size 4! Just not slip on as described still have to fiddle with laces but for one who can bend down normally it's not an issue. Great all kinds of exercise, taking the baby for a walk, running errands, going for a jog. Best fitting trainers I have now! Extra plus is that they look good with jeans and a jumper etc or more sporty, some really nice looking trainers.I bought a pair of purple 3 years ago and i fell in love with them because they are super comfy, a bit stylish, don’t get soaked quite easily, and they don’t hurt my feet. So when I saw these colour last week, I immediately ordered them. You can never go wrong with Skechers. Love it!I love these pair of trainers. As always sketchers shoes are very comfy, affordable, stylish, and breathable.I dont really wear other colours other than black but this plum one is so lovely. Love it!
